Run for Div, led by the French Federation for Company Sport, is based on a national pilot experiment carried in 2014. FFSE is supported by a consortium bringing together national company sport federations as well EU and national organisations that are benchmarked in terms of reflection and knowledge about diversity and social inclusion, and a university particularly involved in the topics of social inclusion, sport and innovation.
Presentation
Run4Diversity (R4D) responds to the European Commission’s priority of inclusion and diversity in all fields of education, training and sport. More specifically, it addresses four major trends:
Diversity
Diverse of social and ethnic backgrounds and of different genders, sexual orientations
Inclusion
Equal participation of individuals in a society
Equality
In terms of status, rights and opportunities
Cohesion
Ties members of a social groups to another
