On 12 October, the city of Athens in Greece was lauch second European Diversity Run, organised as part of our project. This first edition was a success, with 174 runners/walkers taking part. 🏃🚶
- 29 athletes at the solo 3km
- 145 athletes at the solo 6km
The aim of this unique event was to promote diversity, inclusion and social cohesion through sport, while at the same time strengthening ties.
Under a radiant sun and in a friendly atmosphere, the race brought together participants of all ages and backgrounds.
This year’s European Run for Diversity in Greece raised awareness among participants and the general public of the importance of diversity. The event was enthusiastically received by participants and spectators alike, and many runners/walkers expressed their desire to see the initiative continued in other European countries.
Congratulation to the Hellenic Organization for Company Sport & Health (Greece Federation for Company Sport)! 😍
